Bio:
Rakhmat Syarip is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of International Relations, Universitas Indonesia. Having more than 10 years of research experiences, he has partnered with, among others, the Indonesian Ministry of National Development Planning, the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES), and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Having published in several international journals, he is a peer reviewer for the Pacific Review, Journal of Current Southeast Asian Affairs, International Politics, and so on. He is now taking a Doctoral degree at the Graduate School of Political Science, Waseda University, Japan, with a scholarship from the Monbukagakusho/ MEXT.
